\"7\"<\/a><\/strong>For as long as I can remember, my life has centered around taking care of people;\u00a0making sure that they were happy or comfortable.\u00a0 Being the oldest of six children, and a girl at that, I was always helping the younger siblings and babysitting when my mom needed help.\u00a0 I think that nurturing nature has really shaped who I am as an adult, and helped to direct the path that my life has taken.<\/p>\n

I have always worked in positions where high-quality customer service was a must.\u00a0 I’ve been a receptionist, auto body estimator, bookkeeper and a nanny.\u00a0 In all of those jobs I made sure that I cared for my clients to the very best of my ability, and I’m excited to apply my experience to being the general manager for Liquid
\n<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0Wisdom Tea Shop.<\/p>\n

As I am writing this, I am sipping a cup of chamomile tea and just relaxing at the end of a very hectic day.\u00a0 For me, this is a regular occurrence, as I find that nothing calms me quite like a cup of tea, and when I am sitting at the computer I find myself reaching for a cup, because it is such a comfort.\u00a0 I am not sure where my love for tea started, but I know that sharing that love with others will be another way for me to continue nurturing those around me.<\/p>\n

Karilyn T. Starks, Owner<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

As the owner of Liquid Wisdom, it is my goal to create the best team possible to serve your needs. As co-owner of our parent company, WaiianTime, LLC<\/em>, I’ve worn many hats: from producer in our film and entertainment divisions, to Sales and Marketing Director and CEO of Liquid Wisdom Tea Shop<\/em>.\"Karilyn\"<\/a><\/p>\n

In everything I do, I constantly remind myself and others that our number one goal is to think of the customers’ needs first. In an age where good customer service is on the decline, I appreciate the extra efforts our staff to provides. I also find it critical for our staff to feel valued, and able to express their talents to the best of their ability.<\/p>\n

My first real experience with tea was in England, many years ago as a teenager. Not familiar with any types of tea, I dumped heavy cream and lots of lemon into a mug of Earl Gray. It curdled. It was so dreadful, I asked the waitress to bring me a fresh cup because their cream was obviously off. She just smiled and said, “You’re from the States, aren’t you?”<\/p>\n

Fortunately, although I’m always still learning, I re-discovered tea only this year, when I went to an authentic tea room and was treated to the most exquisite cup of blooming tea. I was hooked watching the petals spread and the aroma is something I will never forget.<\/p>\n

I have enjoyed drinking tea for as long as I can remember. \u00a0It has become a part of my daily routine that I relish. \u00a0I remember the day Karilyn made the suggestion that we could share our love of tea with others.<\/p>\n
